Longboarding Workshop: Elevate Your Skills

Join us for an immersive longboarding workshop designed for improving surfers who own a longboard and are comfortable paddling outback in 2-3ft surf. We’ll meet on either Saturday, 12th October, or Sunday, 13th October, depending on the best conditions. This one-day event is focused on enhancing your wave selection, increasing your wave count, mastering manoeuvres and cross-stepping.

What's Included:

• Two Surf Sessions: Start the day with a morning session to ride some waves and refine your technique, followed by an afternoon session to implement the skills you’ve learned.
• Video/Photo Analysis: We’ll capture your rides on camera to provide detailed, personalised feedback. Reviewing your footage will help you understand your strengths and areas for improvement.
• Targeted Drills: Engage in drills specifically designed to improve your balance, manoeuvring, and cross-stepping on a longboard.
• Theory: Dive into the theory of wave selection, positioning, and surf etiquette to help you catch more waves and make the most of each session.
• Dinner (Cost Not Included): End the day with a relaxed dinner where we can share experiences, review the day, and build our surfing community.
• Free Shaka Surf wax

Location

Whilst we aim to take lessons at Newgale, Whitesands or Broad Haven, conditions may mean that the lessons will be taken at Freshwater West, Manorbier, Nolton and others in Pembrokeshire.

9am meet and greet

10:30am Surf lesson

12:30pm Lunch

1:30pm Individual photo Analysis, option to have a go on surf skate

2.30pm visit to local ice cream parlour

4pm Surf lesson 

6pm group dinner 

Our cancellation policy

Partial refund (75%) until 28 days before event. 50% refund available until 14 days before event. No refund can be issued 7 days before event.

Whilst we will always aim to run our events somewhere, sometimes Pembrokeshire weather and waves conditions mean that we have to cancel the event for your personal safety. In the case of the event being cancelled due to uncontrollable weather conditions (waves too small, storms etc.) you will have the option to receive a 75% refund or to move your spot to another weekend free of charge.
